It鈥檚 September and music is in the air! Gather family and friends for three engaging outdoor听 performances: a FREE celebratory concert by (9/18) performing popular music for all ages; an afternoon of new American roots sounds from the 听(9/19); and a charming听blend of Bluegrass and country music from GRAMMY-nominated Nashville band (9/26).
听performance (9/18) is sponsored by the Hylton Center Veterans and the Arts Initiative. As part of the most prestigious military band in听the听U.S.听Army, the ensemble鈥檚 mission is to support the men and women of the Armed Services through popular music while reaching all听audiences, young and old. Downrange performs up-to-date repertoire including rock, pop, country,听R&B, and inspirational patriotic arrangements popular with all listeners.听听(9/19) round out the weekend with an afternoon of new sounds from the forgotten 78鈥檚, fashioned by the group鈥檚 own unique, playful style. September closes with a bang when GRAMMY-nominated Nashville Bluegrass band听听(9/26) make their Hylton Center debut. Catch this hot, six-piece ensemble that serves up Bluegrass and country music in a blend of modern听sophistication steeped in traditional charm.
