The Coronavirus has recently shed light on U.S. dependence on China for critical things like PPE and medicine. This has led to many calling for an America only approach to the manufacture of these critical items. McGinn points to several reasons that we should be in partnership with our allies and avoid an autarkic “buy America only” approach.��
