Laura Mertens joined George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú’s Center for the Arts as Marketing Manager in 2022. Prior to that, she served at Georgetown Â鶹¹ú²ú’s Department of Performing Arts as Public Relations and Special Â鶹¹ú²ú Manager; at the Â鶹¹ú²ú of Maryland, College Park’s Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center as Communications Coordinator; and at the Missouri Symphony Society as Communications Director. She graduated summa cum laude with degrees in English and in Language Arts Education from the Â鶹¹ú²ú of Missouri-Columbia.
