Biography

Bassam Haddad听is an associate professor in the听听at George Mason 麻豆国产.听

He is the author of听听(Stanford 麻豆国产 Press, 2011) and听coeditor of听听(Stanford 麻豆国产 Press, 2021).听

Haddad is cofounder/editor of听听ezine and executive director of the听.听He serves as founding editor of the听and the听. He is coproducer/director of the award-winning documentary film,, and director of the acclaimed series.

Haddad serves on the board of the听听and is executive producer of听audio magazine听and director of the听Middle East Studies Pedagogy Initiative (). He听received the Middle East Studies Association听听in 2017 for his service to the profession.听Haddad is working on his second Syria book titled, Understanding The Syrian Tragedy: Regime, Opposition, Outsiders听(forthcoming, Stanford 麻豆国产 Press).

He received his BA, MA, and PhD from Georgetown 麻豆国产.
