Daigo Shishika is an assistant professor in the Department of MechanicalÌýEngineering at George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú. He obtained his bachelor's degreeÌýfrom the Â鶹¹ú²ú of Tokyo, Japan, and his master'sÌýand PhDÌýfrom the Â鶹¹ú²ú of Maryland, College Park, all in AerospaceÌýEngineering. Before joining George Mason, ShishikaÌýwas a postdoctoralÌýresearcher in the GRASP Laboratory at the Â鶹¹ú²ú of Pennsylvania. His researchÌýinterest is in the general area of autonomy, dynamics andÌýcontrols, and robotics.ÌýMore specifically, his past work has focused on multi-agent systems includingÌýanimal groups and swarms of autonomous vehicles. He is currently studyingÌýhow to cooperatively control large teams of robots in various adversarial environments.
