Evelyn P. Tomaszewski, MSW, ACSW, is MSW Program Director and an assistant professor in the Department of Social Work at George Mason �鶹���� (Fairfax, VA). ��Tomaszewski brings over 25 years of experience as a public health social worker practicing in in the US and globally.��Prior to Mason, she served as Senior Policy Advisor and Project Director with the National Association of Social Workers , where she directed the transdisciplinary HIV/AIDS Spectrum Mental Health Project in partnership with the�� SAMSHA National HIV Mental Health Training Resource Center.�� Tomaszewski also led multiple stakeholder driven initiatives focused on LGBTQ equity, social and economic justice, social services workforce strengthening, and global violence prevention.

Her expertise and research interests include HIV/AIDS syndemics, mental health and other NCDs, ethics and social work practice, LGBTQ youth, violence prevention, human rights of at-risk and marginalized communities, and increasing skills and capacity of health and social services workforce (providers, services, leadership and governance). ��Tomaszewski also consults on projects ranging from program and workforce development and ��community and systems level change - to building multi-sectorial partnerships and initiatives with non-profit, public and private industry leaders in health and behavioral health, public health, and social services.�� She earned her Master of Social Work from West Virginia �鶹���� and a Graduate Certificate (Public Health/ Global and Community Health) from George Mason �鶹����.
