Jan Allbeck is the Associate Dean of the Honors College and an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science. In addition to her administrative duties, she advises Applied Computer Science and Computer Science majors in the Honors College. She also teaches Honors College courses related to game design, computer graphics, and special effects.

Research

She has explored many aspects of computer graphicsÌýbut is most drawn to research at the crossroads of animation, artificial intelligence, and psychology in the simulation of virtual humans.
