Mohamed Rajani is director of strategic partnerships at American Express. Previously he was a leader on the corporate strategy team at Macy’s where he managed the company’s strategic investment portfolio including investments in b8ta and SoGal Ventures. Prior to that, he spent four years on the business development team where he was instrumental in building several new business models and platforms, such as The Market @ Macy’s and Macy’s Wine Cellar, which monetized core operational capabilities. He also led the expansion of Virtual Realty in Furniture to over 150 stores nationally that significantly improved the furniture buying experience for customers and meaningfully drove incremental sales.
