Dr. Paige P. Wolf is associate dean of graduate programs in the Costello College of Business. Prior to this position, she spent 11 years with the School of Business as an associate professor of management.

Wolf's area of expertise is the alignment of human capital with organizational strategy. She taught both MBA and undergraduate courses in organizational behavior and human resource management. She has been recognized for her work in the classroom, having been honored with the George Mason �鶹���� Teaching Excellence Award.

Wolf has more than 16 years of experience as an internal and external consultant on strategic human resource initiatives and maintains an active consulting practice through her own company, Performance Matters, LLC. Her work with both private and public sector clients has focused on improving human potential and effectiveness at work and included projects involving team building, organizational development, competency modeling, performance management, employee selection systems, career planning, employee training and development, leadership assessment, and human resource audits.

Wolf received her PhD in industrial-organizational psychology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State �鶹���� and maintains her Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. In addition, Wolf is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Academy of Management, Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and American Society for Training and Development.

She has presented several papers at professional conferences and is published in the Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal, Journal of Social Psychology, Human Resource Management, Encyclopedia of Creativity, The IBM Center for Business and Government Competition and Choice Series, and The Industrial/Organizational Psychologist.

• Presented the paper titled, “Teaching in Circles: Making the Most of the Active Learning Classroom” at the Center for Teaching Excellence Faculty Showcase in Fairfax, Virginia in 2014 with fellow colleagues Cheryl Druehl, Information Systems and Operations Management, and Anne Magro, Accounting.
• Received a Professional Service Award from George Mason School of Management in 2013.
• Presented the paper titled “Team Composition and Emergent States as Predictors of Shared Leadership” at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Annual Conference in Houston, Texas in 2013 (with coauthors Tiffani Chen, Stephen Zaccaro, and Stephanie Odenheimer).
• Published an article titled, “Book Review: Good Boss, Bad Boss: How to be the Best and Learn From the Worst by Robert I. Sutton” in Personnel Psychology in 2011.
• Published an article titled, “Short-Term Study Abroad: A Transformational Approach to Global Business Education,” (with Michelle Marks and coauthors) in the Journal of International Education in Business in 2011.
