Through a new solar array at George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú’s Fairfax Campus, the sun will play double-duty in the successful growth of plants. Solar energy will power the President’s Park Greenhouse with the electricity it needs to support the plants growing inside.

The Office Supply Swap at George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú launched in Spring 2023, thanks to the efforts of the Staff Senate and Â鶹¹ú²ú Sustainability.

George Mason Â鶹¹ú²ú Facilities has installed 23 Bigbelly zero waste stations on the Fairfax and Mason Square campuses. These solar-powered stations support Mason’s recycling and composting goals through their user-friendly design, technology upgrades, and capacity-based alerts.
