At George Mason, we鈥檙e focused on finding new ways to help you complete your bachelor's degree. In the words of our president, Dr. Gregory Washington, we want to 鈥渂e the institution for all Virginians.鈥 One of the most important ways we can help you reach your goals is making your education more affordable.
The Mason Virginia Promise Grant (MVP) is a last-dollar award that closes any remaining financial gaps for standard undergraduate tuition after all other gift aid has been applied.聽 Other aid applied prior to the MVP Grant could include federal and state grants, institutional grants and scholarships, and tuition assistance grants, including military tuition waivers.
Eligible students in our community college partnership programs and the Early Identification Program automatically receive the MVP Grant to help pay for their education.
The bottom line for eligible students?听听The Mason Virginia Promise Grant, combined with other sources of gift aid, will meet the cost of standard tuition and fees.
Am I Eligible?
- 鉁 An undergraduate, degree-seeking student entering聽or enrolled at George Mason 麻豆国产 for the upcoming semester
- 鉁 A resident of Virginia
- 鉁撀燗n eligible participant in one of our聽community college partnerships聽or the Early Identification Program
- 鉁 Filed a FAFSA (or VASA) by the priority deadline聽
- 鉁 Eligible for Virginia State Grants and/or Federal Aid
- 鉁 Family income of $75,000 or less, or聽Federal Pell Grant eligible聽and an Expected Family Contribution (EFC)聽less than $25,000
- 鉁 Enrolled full time
