George Mason Âé¶¹¹ú²ú received the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments’ (MWCOG) Commuter Connections 2023 Employer Recognition Award for the Incentives category. Josh Cantor, Mason’s director of Parking and Transportation, accepted the award at a ceremony held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday, April 12, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger visited George Mason Âé¶¹¹ú²ú’s Potomac Science Center in Woodbridge, which is now part of the congresswoman’s district.

Last year, students at George Mason Âé¶¹¹ú²ú joined contestants from around the world to predict the peak bloom date of cherry trees at  four global locations. The international Cherry Blossom Prediction Competition was a huge success and is gaining traction during its second annual run.
