For the past few weeks, these George Mason students developed policy memos based on various socioeconomic and environmental issues facing Northern Virginia and together worked in groups to develop recommendations for addressing them. But now their audience is far more formidable: Virginia State Senator Stella Pekarsky.

It’s March Madness again, and it’s made for some heady times for the George Mason �鶹���� basketball program.

Her academic pathway began nearly 3,000 miles away from Mason Square, in Portland, Oregon, with a detour to Paris where she began her pursuit of a Master of Political Science degree. George Mason �鶹���� has been crowned the Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track and Field Champions, claiming the title over VCU at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. The men's team placed second in the championship behind Rhode Island.
