Sixteen students from George Mason’s College of Engineering and Computing took an early summer ROMP in Quito.

For more than 30 years, the student-run bilingual literary journal Hispanic Culture Review (HCR) at George Mason �鶹���� has published poetry, essays, and narratives in both Spanish and English and highlighted photography and visual art. HCR has been awarded a 2024 National Magazine Pacemaker Award by the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP). Volition, George Mason’s undergraduate literary and arts journal, was named a finalist in the same category.

A faculty team from several programs within the School of Education at George Mason �鶹���� has been awarded a U.S. Department of Education grant to train mental health services providers in Manassas City Public Schools. The grant is part of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to expand student access to mental health services in high-need K-12 public schools.
