A six-person panel of Mason experts on mental health and well-being discussed student success strategies as part of a week-long series of events marking President Gregory Washington’s Investiture.

The CDC and FDA have approved and recommended booster doses for certain individuals who received any of the three Covid-19 vaccines available in the U.S.  

Since returning to George Mason �鶹���� earlier this year, Schar School Professor Michael Fauntroy has been ready to hit the ground running. He founded the new Race, Politics, and Policy Center that will officially launch on Nov. 1st—and said there’s a lot to be on the lookout for.

“I want you to know that I see you,” President Gregory Washington said, speaking directly to students in the audience at EagleBank Arena on Thursday afternoon and others tuning in to the event on GMU-TV. “I honor you. And I dedicate my presidency to you.

The new MIX space is open in the brand-new state-of-the-art Horizon Hall.  MIX stands for “Mason Innovation Exchange” and is a place for creators, makers, innovators and entrepreneurs.

President Washington spoke on Oct. 14 at a Mason Korea event in Horizon Hall on the Fairfax Campus, as part of a week-long series of events celebrating his Investiture. Participants gathered in person and virtually from the Mason Korea Campus.

President Gregory Washington will lead two star-studded faculty panels as part of his Investiture activities next week. Both panels will be in Merten Hall, Room 1201, and can be seen live on GMU-TV.

George Mason �鶹���� has partnered with local and state economic development organizations, innovative corporations, and a small army of judges and mentors for Accelerate 2022, a venture capital conference threaded with tech, innovation, entrepreneurship, and business community engagement.
