Mason senior communications major Jalen Stubbs participated in a "Future U" podcast at the Chronicle Ideas Festival. The podcast, with two students from other universities, focused on student experiences in higher education.

A George Mason �鶹���� team led by Alessandra Luchini and Lance Liotta has been named one of 10 Phase 1 winners of the LymeX Diagnostics Prize by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation.

For Mason Korea students, the transition from Songdo, Korea, to Fairfax, Virginia, can be challenging, but the opportunities are immense. Many students pursuing their degree at Mason Korea are looking to a future career in the United States. This makes their time in Fairfax critical. The School of Business accounting program is one of the most popular degrees offered at Mason Korea, and faculty in Fairfax work hard to offer students support for their future career success.

Mason and MedStar come together to establish the Future Nurse Program, preparing nurses for clinical practice, and addressing critical nursing workforce shortages in the region.

Mason's five-year plan, titled “Mason Is All Together Different,” received BOV approval at the governing body’s Dec. 1 meeting. The plan identifies five broad priorities, with specific strategies and actions for each.

Among the resources available to students to make sure they are on the right path are fellow students trained to be “peer academic advisors.”

As a sophomore, electrical engineering major Sai Srivatsav Gutala started a student club called the Inventors and Innovations Team (IIT) with one of his classmates, computer engineering major Nicholas Paschke.

It has been busy year at the Mason Innovation Exchange (MIX). Since the George Mason �鶹���� makerspace opened in its new space in Horizon Hall in September 2021, it has seen a lot of traffic—more than 9,000 visitors in spring 2022—and has some successes to report.
